All about the function

As a Hands-On Hospitality Supervisor at ProRail, you'll combine day-to-day team management with actively working on the job site. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for ProRail's Manager, your own team, and other facility service providers on site. You'll monitor the quality of services in the areas of hospitality, reception, facility support, and safety, and actively identify opportunities for improvement in processes and service.

In addition to your coordinating role, you'll mentor employees in their day-to-day work: you'll conduct progress reviews, ensure a smooth onboarding process for new colleagues, and encourage personal development. You'll work 4 to 5 days a week, including 2 days spent traveling to various ProRail locations. This allows you to stay well-informed about what's going on and remain closely connected to day-to-day operations.

Your Day as a Hospitality Supervisor at ProRail

Your day begins at the headquarters in Utrecht. You review the schedule, briefly discuss priorities with your team, and make sure everyone knows what's on the agenda for the day. If there are any special circumstances, you'll immediately contact the Facility Manager or the relevant parties.
