R&D Chemist

Responsibilities :

• Conduct formulation, trials, and development of new and existing paint/coating products.
• Perform testing and evaluation of raw materials, formulations, and products according to established standards.
• Conduct reformulation and product improvements to enhance quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Perform scale-up of formulations from laboratory to production scale.
• Analyze and resolve product quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Document trial, testing, and product development results accurately.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to support product development and continuous improvement.

Requirement :

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience as a Chemist / R&D Staff in chemical or paint manufacturing industries
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (organizational experience will be an advantage)
• Strong interest in research and product development
• Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and creativity
• Proactive, active, and highly initiative-driven
• Good English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Proficient in computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
