Workshop Manager

Job Description

Lead the entire workshop team and manage daily workshop operations to ensure smooth and effective work.

Plan, schedule and monitor maintenance and repair works to ensure timely completion and meet quality standards.

Oversee and allocate workshop resources efficiently to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.

Monitor team performance, work progress and quality of work.

Ensure all workshop activities comply with site safety rules.

Ensure all repair and servicing works are properly recorded and documented, including detailed records of parts used.

Develop and maintain the competency of the workshop team.

Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage and issuing of materials and spare parts.

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock quantities matches the system records.

Monitor inventory levels and establish appropriate stock levels to prevent stock shortages or excessive inventory.

Ensure all inventory movements are properly recorded and documented.

Report spare parts with quality issues to the HQ team for further action.

Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and operated in a safe manner.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Automotive Engineering or related field
• Min. 5 years of experience in managing a large-scale heavy vehicles workshop is preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good knowledge of truck maintenance, repair processes, and spare parts management
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Basic proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia to communicate effectively with local teams and support day-to-day workshop operations
• Willingness to be deployed overseas in Indonesia
