*Your Opportunity!*
Reporting to the Food and Nutrition Manager, the *Food Service Supervisor *is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient preparation and delivery of meals to the residents within legislative requirements. The food service supervisor will ensure the residents enjoy a pleasurable dining experience within the scope of the dietary practice.
*Key Responsibilities and Skills*:
- Assist with the planning and organizing of the activities within the dietary department
- Assist with establishing workflow patterns
- Ensures the provision of high-quality food service
- Orders and recieves food and kitchen supplies
- Supervises the activities of the dietary department
- Coordinates dietary activities with other departments
- Assists in monitoring and evaluation of performance staff
- Ensures cost control procedures are in place
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and any collective agreement
*Qualifications:*
- Diploma in Food Service Supervision from a recognized program
- Current membership in the Ontario Society of Nutritional Management
- Current membership in the Canadian Society of Nutritional Management (required)
- 1 year of progressive related experience in LTC preferred
- 1 year of management experience preferred
- A Criminal Records and Vulnerable Sector Screening check to the satisfaction of Primacare? Living Solutions.
- Proof of full immunization (2 doses) against COVID-19
