Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai, specializing in the MEP industry or building material distribution industry. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance within our dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports
• Verify LPOs, GRNs and Delivery Notes of Vendors
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and timely
• Assist with Petty Cash payments and reconciliation
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Collaborate with senior accountants and internal departments to ensure proper financial documentation
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with audits and MIS reporting as required
• Assist with VAT filing and year end Corporate Tax Filing
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience, preferably in MEP or building material distribution company
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Understanding of UAE financial regulations and VAT is a plus.
