Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise mechanical installation works onsite, ensuring compliance with Singapore technical standards and project requirements while managing subcontractors and liaising with stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise mechanical installation works onsite to deliver timely and quality project completion
- Ensure all mechanical installation activities comply with Singapore technical standards and acceptance processes to meet regulatory requirements
- Interpret mechanical installation drawings to accurately guide site construction work and prevent errors
- Liaise with owners, subcontractors, and internal departments to secure necessary permits and coordinate project activities for seamless execution
- Manage subcontractors by monitoring work progress and ensuring alignment with project requirements and quality standards
- Follow Mechanical Department management and project instructions to maintain operational consistency and project alignment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical working experience in construction projects
- Experience in gas turbine power plant projects is advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical installation drawings
- Good command of English for effective communication and documentation
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills to promote a safe working environment
- Comfortable working in physically demanding site environments
- Ability to start work on short notice is advantageous
