Electrical Maintenance
- Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building electrical systems.
- Maintain lighting, power outlets, switches, distribution boards, and electrical panels.
- Replace faulty lamps, switches, sockets, breakers, cables, and other electrical components.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Identify and rectify electrical faults, short circuits, power failures, and tripping issues.
- Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and restore services safely.
- Use appropriate electrical testing equipment to diagnose faults.
Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct scheduled inspections of electrical installations and equipment.
- Check cables, connections, circuit breakers, earthing systems, and electrical panels.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records and report defects requiring further attention.
Building Services
- Maintain electrical systems supporting air-conditioning, ventilation, pumps, lifts, fire alarm systems, and other building services as applicable.
- Assist other maintenance teams with electrical requirements.
Safety
- Follow electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Isolate and lock out electrical supplies before carrying out maintenance work where required.
- Ensure proper earthing and protection of electrical equipment.
- Use appropriate PPE and electrical tools.
