System Engineer (Network & Integrated Building Systems) | $3500 to $5500 #5252

Job Responsibilities: Design, configure and maintain network infrastructure supporting Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Fault Management Systems (FMS)

Install, configure, test and troubleshoot servers, network devices and system applications

Support integration between IT networks, building systems and operational technology

Monitor network and system performance, availability and security

Support project implementation, system migration, testing and commissioning

Troubleshoot network, server and application issues

Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders

Prepare technical documentation including network diagrams, test plans and operating procedures

Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades and patch management

Ensure compliance with IT, cybersecurity and operational standards

Job Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics Engineering or related field

Experience in network engineering, system administration or infrastructure support

Experience with BMS, EMS, FMS, SCADA or IoT systems will be an advantage

Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, firewalls and VPN

Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux and virtualization will be an advantage

Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, OPC, MQTT or SNMP will be an advantage

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Able to work independently and as part of a project team

CCNA, CCNP, Network+, ITIL or relevant certifications will be an advantage
