Financial Crime Prevention Quality Assurance Officer
Job description
Full-time | Vilnius I 4x office per week I Vilnius | Full-time | €3,000–€3,500 gross/month
This is a Quality Assurance role, not an AML operations or MLRO position.
At PAYMONT, UAB, we are looking for a hands-on Financial Crime Prevention Quality Assurance Officer to join our Compliance & AML team in Vilnius.
We are a smaller, regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI), which means less corporate structure, more direct involvement and plenty of opportunities to make a real impact. We need someone who doesn't just identify what's wrong, but takes initiative, challenges existing processes and actively helps make them better.
This is not a role where everything is already perfectly set up. You will help us build, improve and maintain our quality assurance framework. If you enjoy taking ownership, working independently and seeing the results of your work, we'd love to hear from you.
What will you be doing? Perform independent quality reviews, testing and spot checks across AML-related processes. Review onboarding, KYC/CDD/EDD, transaction processing and customer communications. Identify process gaps, recurring issues and weaknesses in internal controls. Ensure processes comply with internal procedures and regulatory expectations. Investigate root causes, follow up on findings and support corrective actions. Help develop and improve QA procedures, checklists, controls and reporting. Contribute to internal audits, regulatory reviews and quality reporting. Work closely with Compliance, Risk and operational teams to drive improvements.
Working arrangements & travel
We want to be transparent about how this role works. This is NOT a remote position. Regular presence at our Vilnius office is important to us. Vilnius office: We strongly prefer 4 days per week in the office, with 1 day of home office. Further flexibility: Once you're fully onboarded and familiar with our processes, we are open to discussing additional home office options. Initial onboarding in Prague: You will spend your first 2 weeks with our team in Prague to get familiar with the company, people and processes. Regular business trips: The role involves travelling to Prague approximately once a month for 3–5 days. Travel expenses: Flights and accommodation for the required Prague visits are fully covered by PAYMONT.
What do we offer? Full-time cooperation only Fixed-term contract for 1 year, with the possibility of extension. A competitive salary of €3,000–€3,500 gross/month, depending on experience and agreed workload. An opportunity to shape and improve our internal QA processes, not just maintain existing ones. A smaller, less corporate environment where your ideas and contributions matter. Direct cooperation with operational teams and management. Room to take ownership, introduce improvements and make a visible difference.
Selection process 1.Introductory meeting with HR (online) 2.Meeting with your potential manager (online) Does this sound like the kind of challenge you're looking for? If you enjoy taking responsibility, solving problems and building processes that actually work, we'd be happy to talk. Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile 😊
