Paws & Whiskers Pet Care is seeking an occasional, part-time, reliable, and enthusiastic Dog Walker to provide safe, dependable care and exercise for dogs in our community.

This position requires flexible Monday?Friday availability, primarily between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Hours will vary based on client needs, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable with an occasional and changing schedule rather than guaranteed daily hours.

Responsibilities include walking dogs of various sizes and temperaments, monitoring their well-being, following client instructions, and providing friendly, professional service to pet owners.

We?re looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable working independently, genuinely enjoys working with animals, and can be flexible when visits are added or schedules change.

Responsibilities include:

• Walking dogs safely and according to their individual needs
• Monitoring behavior and health during walks
• Providing water and comfort as needed
• Maintaining accurate visit records
• Interacting professionally and positively with clients

Qualifications:

• Love for animals and basic knowledge of dog behavior
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physically able to walk multiple dogs
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible availability (weekdays, weekends, holidays)

Details:

• Independent contractor position
• Contractors cover their own travel expenses
• Clients located in Mitchell, Seaforth, Clinton, and surrounding areas

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 ? 15.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Seaforth, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
