TSSU Technician

Key accountabilities Provides co-ordination and support to the surgical team by ensuring the availability of instrument sets, packs and consumables, including the process from decontamination to sterilization. Setting trays and consumables for procedures. Perform decontamination, washing, cleaning, packing and sterilizing instruments and instrument sets. Preparing instruments and instrument sets for sterilization according to established policies and procedures. Perform biological and chemical monitoring and documentation in accordance with quality assurance standard. Maintain adequate supply of instruments, instrument sets, packs and consumables for daily OT usage. Maintain the integrity of the sterile instruments, instrument sets and packs from storage to usage. Maintain cleanliness of the environment. Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager/Nurse Manager. Qualifications & Experience Minimum qualification GCE ‘N’ Level preferred. At least 1-2 years related experience will be of added advantage.
