Sales, Marketing & Brand Officer
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for Open Veil Farm produce. Identify and develop relationships with wholesalers, retailers, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, caterers, food businesses, and other potential buyers. Actively source new customers and build a strong customer pipeline. Promote and sell farm produce, including cucumber, tete, pawpaw and other crops produced by the farm. Monitor market prices, customer demand and competitor activities. Negotiate prices and commercial terms with customers, subject to management approval. Develop repeat business and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Support the planning and marketing of produce ahead of harvest. Coordinate with the farm team to understand expected harvest quantities and timing and develop appropriate sales plans. Support the development of attractive and professional packaging for Open Veil Farm products. Coordinate with approved vendors and service providers for labels, stickers, bags, cartons, and other branded packaging materials. Help maintain consistent Open Veil Farm branding across products and marketing materials. Represent Open Veil Farm professionally when engaging customers, businesses, and community stakeholders. Prepare regular sales and marketing reports for management. Identify new opportunities to increase farm revenue and expand the customer base.
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, FMCG, agribusiness, food products, retail, or a related field. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proven ability to acquire and retain customers. A proactive, target-driven, and commercially minded personality. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Good understanding of the Ogun State/ Abeokuta / Sagamu market is an advantage. Experience in agricultural produce sales or food distribution is an advantage. Ability to travel locally for customer visits and business development. Good organizational and reporting skills. An understanding of branding and product presentation. A valid driver's licence and ability to move around the field will be an advantage. Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly.
