Legal Executive (In-House)

JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading multinational energy company is currently seeking a Legal Executive to support its regional business development and investment activities.

The Legal Executive will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Service Agreements, and tender documents. You will assist the legal team with investment and project-related documentation while ensuring business activities remain compliant with applicable regulations, including the Singapore Companies Act.

Additionally, you will help coordinate legal matters across the company’s Southeast Asian representative offices and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or an equivalent legal qualification (A legal practicing certificate is not required)
• 1 to 3 years of relevant in-house legal or corporate/commercial experience
• Hands-on experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts (NDAs, MOUs, Service Agreements) is good to have
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Previous experience with commodities trading industry or energy industry is preferred
