Container Trading Operations Specialist

Our client is a Metal Commodity Trading MNC, currently seeks a Container Trading Operations Specialist to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Trade Operations Manager, the incumbent will be working in a team of 8 staffs. He / She will be responsible for overseeing shipment execution, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and monitoring customer receivables to ensure smooth and timely operations.

The main duties will include overseeing end-to-end order and shipment fulfilment, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, coordinating shipping documentation, payments, invoicing and letters of credit, as well as monitoring shipments, inventory and cash flow. The role will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely updates in internal systems, managing month-end transactions and reconciliations, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of trade operations experience handling container shipments for metal commodity products, preferably with experience managing high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge in Letter of credit & UCP600
• Working experience in Pivot table and Vlookup
