Senior Quality Surveyor

Key Responsibilities Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities for EPC construction projects from pre-contract stage through to project completion.

Prepare and review cost estimates, project budgets, tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and subcontract packages.

Manage subcontractor tendering, including tender evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract administration.

Prepare and assess progress claims, variation orders (VOs), contractual claims, and final accounts.

Monitor project costs, commitments, cash flow, and cost forecasts, and prepare regular commercial reports for management.

Identify contractual and commercial risks and support the project team in managing claims and variations.

Review subcontractor and supplier claims and ensure payments are made in accordance with contractual terms and actual work progress.

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on contractual, commercial, and cost-related matters.

Support project close-out activities, including the settlement of variations, claims, and final accounts.

Requirements Diploma or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management , or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with a main contractor, EPC contractor, or quantity surveying consultancy.

Good knowledge of cost control, subcontract administration, progress claims, variation orders, contractual claims, and final accounts .

Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, Oil & Gas, building, or EPC projects will be an advantage.

Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
