Through attention to detail and exceptional hospitality, Hosts leave a lasting impression on every guest.The Day-to-Day:Create a warm and inviting atmosphere in person and over the phone, even during high-volume periodsCommunicate effectively with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain optimal guest flow and seating rotationGreet and escort guests to their tables while engaging in friendly, professional conversationAccurately take and manage reservations both in person and over the phoneEnsure the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all timesDevelop a strong understanding of the floor plan, including table numbers and section layouts, to seat guests efficientlyPerform additional duties as assigned or requiredQualificationsValid Smart Serve Certification RequiredProven prior experience in a similar position for at least 6 monthsHigh attention to detailAbility to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environmentOrganizational skills and ability to multi-taskStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentumMinimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an assetFlexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.Legally eligible to work in CanadaAdditional InformationAI DisclosureTo ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
