Job Responsibilities
- General cleaning and housekeeping of café, dining, bar, retail and common areas
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, shelves and frequently touched surfaces
- Sweep, vacuum and mop floors
- Clean and maintain toilets throughout the shift
- Support cleaning of kitchen and food-preparation areas according to hygiene requirements
- Collect and dispose of rubbish and recyclables properly
- Clean and maintain waste/bin areas
- Replenish toilet paper, soap and other hygiene supplies
- Clean glass, doors, mirrors and other surfaces as required
- Respond promptly to spills and urgent cleaning needs
- Assist with opening or closing cleaning routines depending on assigned shift
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Follow hygiene, food-safety and cross-contamination prevention procedures
- Report maintenance, pest, leakage, safety or hygiene issues promptly
- Maintain cleaning checklists and records where required
- Support housekeeping for workshops, events and other areas when required
- Perform other reasonable cleaning andhousekeeping duties assigned by management
Job Requirements
- F&B, restaurant, café, hotel or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not essential
- Training will be provided
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Good attention to cleanliness and detail
- Able to work independently
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties and stand/walk for extended periods
- Comfortable with toilet cleaning and waste handling
- Able to follow cleaning and hygiene procedures
- Positive attitude and willing to work as part of a team
- Availability for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays is an advantage
- Able to work late-night closing shifts where required
