Production Supervisor – GTAW

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production operators in daily operations.
• Train, coach, and support team members to improve performance.
• Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are met.
• Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Monitor production and welding activities to maintain quality standards.
• Track daily production output, downtime, and scrap rates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience managing and leading production teams such as operator and technician.
• Good understanding of production processes and quality requirements.
• Able to identify and solve production issues effectively.
• Able to make decisions and work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of GTAW (TIG Welding) processes is an advantage.
• Good communication, leadership, and team management skills.
