Purchaser (Plumbing & Sanitary) (Construction, East)

Job Description

Raise and create purchase requisitions for procurement of goods/services, as required. Create Purchase Order (POs), track PO closure and review open PO’s. Maintaining records of goods received and ordered. Monitoring and preparation of purchasing related reports. Maintain and update the approved supplier list Monitor and keep optimal inventory levels Communicate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers Review requested items for requisition and liaise with department supervisors to determine the suitability of the material as well as identify and / or track overdue material requests Arranges transfer of materials between project sites Maintains records of material inventory, asset inventory reports and status and location of materials Ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher
• Fresh candidates with engineering background are welcome to apply as well
• Minimum 3 year(s) of procurement experience in Construction/Engineering Industry
• Required Skill(s): Negotiation skills, good Interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels.
• Understanding of procurement process, Good Communication Skills
• Preferably Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Able to start work with short notice
