Job Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and oversee the daily operations of the wholesale and retail business.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Manage inventory, including stock checking, ordering, receiving and storage of fruits.
- Conduct quality checks, grading and classification of different types of fruits.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene and operational standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading fruits, including durians and other heavy cartons weighing at least 60kg.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including wiping tables, clearing durian shells and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist with other operational duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing , preferably in the food, fruit wholesale or retail industry.
- Good knowledge of different types of fruits, including fruit quality, grading and classification.
- Experience in wholesale/retail operations, inventory management and customer service will be an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting of cartons weighing at least 60kg .
- Willing to work long hours, including late nights, weekends and public holidays .
- Willing to work in the East Area of Singapore .
- Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and supervise staff effectively.
