WE’RE BUILDING SOMETHING FROM THE GROUND UP. Nebita Biochemicals is hiring: R&D Scientist – Biomaterials & Inorganic Materials Calcium Phosphates | Hydroxyapatite | Sustainable Materials ???? Egypt | Full-Time Nebita Biochemicals is an early-stage materials-science venture developing high-value biochemicals and biomaterials from underutilized biological resources. Our first R&D program focuses on transforming eggshell-derived calcium into characterized calcium-based materials, including hydroxyapatite. We’re looking for a scientist who doesn’t simply want to join an established laboratory. We want someone who wants to help build one. YOUR MISSION Working alongside Nebita’s management and external scientific advisers, you will help take our technology from Trial 001 → reproducible laboratory process → pilot development. You will be directly involved in: Designing and executing laboratory experiments

Eggshell feedstock qualification and pre-treatment

Calcium carbonate and calcium-phosphate chemistry

Hydroxyapatite synthesis and process optimization

Precipitation, thermal treatment and powder processing

XRD, FTIR and SEM/EDS characterization

Experimental troubleshooting and root-cause analysis

Developing SOPs and laboratory documentation

Reproducibility studies and preliminary product specifications

Helping design Nebita’s future internal R&D laboratory

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Candidates may come from: Materials Science / Materials Engineering

Inorganic or Physical Chemistry

Ceramics / Bioceramics

Biomaterials

Chemical Engineering

Pharmaceutical Materials

Nanomaterials or related disciplines

MSc is preferred , although exceptional BSc candidates with strong relevant laboratory experience are encouraged to apply. HIGHLY VALUED EXPERIENCE Hands-on exposure to one or more of the following will be a major advantage: Hydroxyapatite • Calcium Phosphates • Bioceramics • Precipitation Synthesis • Calcination • Ceramic Powders • XRD • FTIR • SEM/EDS • Particle Characterization We care more about what you can actually do in a laboratory than the number of publications on your CV.
