Planning Engineer Specialist

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and project timelines.

Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against the baseline schedule.

Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, design, and project management teams.

Identify potential delays and propose recovery plans.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.

Track project milestones and critical paths.

Support resource planning (labor, materials, and equipment).

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Ensure projects comply with contractual deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Around 2–5 years of experience in planning for construction, fit-out, finishing, or real estate projects (depending on the seniority).

Strong knowledge of:

Primavera P6 (often essential)

Microsoft Project

Microsoft Excel (advanced)

AutoCAD (preferred)

Understanding of project scheduling techniques, CPM (Critical Path Method), and earned value concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Fluent English is typically preferred.
