IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

Major duties
- You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the DIRECTOR OF SUBMARINE PROGRAMS.
- You will be responsible for the implementation and oversight of cyber risk across the portfolio.
- You will be the primary authority for making risk-based decisions for the overall integrity of the cybersecurity authorization process for systems under Director of Submarine Programs (DSP) purview.
- You will ensure that the need for operational speed is carefully balanced with the technical rigor required to maintain a robust and defensible cybersecurity posture.
- You will represent the command risk tolerance, provide strategic direction for the Risk Management Framework process, and ensure all assessments are conducted in a standardized, compliant and effective manner.
- You will execute delegate authority to conduct in-depth technical risk assessments within their specific cybersecurity domains.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing and implementing risk assessment procedures within cybersecurity programs and projects to mitigate system vulnerabilities and ensure compliance for the overall integrity of cybersecurity authorization process. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
