You will serve as a Supervisory Production Manager in the MRO Production Management of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Major duties

  • You will be responsible for the overall integration of the production effort including but not limited to, the overhaul/repair of aircraft, engines, components, accessories and support equipment.
  • You will manage a comprehensive, data-driven performance measurement framework to continually evaluate the status and progress of production-related activities for the assigned product.
  • You will provide direction to all program supervisors and to other personnel directly assigned or identified to support the product.
  • You will plan work to be accomplished based on priorities and coordinates shared capacity.
  • You will analyze production needs to develop requirements for product initiatives and planning.
  • You will provide input for production and production support related process improvements.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following 1) Interfacing with agencies/ departments/ divisions regarding schedule, funding issues, answering data calls and providing reports to management related to induction or production execution; 2) Analyzing the execution of program schedules from inception to completion, including identifying potential problems and developing solutions to overcome obstacles to successful program or schedule execution; and 3) Coordinating the work of others and integrating several functions into an effective program, analyzing work in progress to identify bottlenecks/risks, recommending process improvements, and determining availability and allocation of resources (i.e. funding, manpower, facilities).
