Accountant

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies or issues. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations to management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, adhering to relevant accounting principles and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards.

Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred. Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in financial analysis and reporting is a plus.
