Muscat International School by Amity (MIS) is seeking an outstanding female teacher of physical education to join our growing school from August 2026.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach physical education across Key Stages 2 to 5, with a particular focus on girls' sport and physical development.
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage participation, enjoyment and excellence.
Promote healthy lifestyles, wellbeing and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
Support and develop competitive and recreational sports programmes.
Lead and contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures, competitions and sporting events.
Encourage leadership, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship in all students.
Play a significant role in the wider life of the school community.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds a recognised teaching qualification and a degree in physical education, sports science or a related discipline.
Has successful experience teaching PE within a British or international curriculum.
Is passionate about developing participation and performance in girls' sport.
Can coach and lead a range of sporting activities.
Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills.
Has high expectations of student achievement, behaviour and personal development.
Understands the important role sport plays in developing confidence, character and wellbeing.
Is willing to contribute fully to the co-curricular life of the school.
Experience of leading school teams, organising competitions or developing enrichment programmes would be highly desirable.
