Sea Freight Operations Officer

Handle end-to-end shipments per customer and internal SOPs.

Responsibilities:

• Shipment Handling: Follow shipments end-to-end per SOPs. Reconcile orders with factories and agents; submit SI and VGM to carriers. Issue B/L and invoices after departure; follow up factory payments and release HBL upon receipt. Settle carrier freight and release MBL after payment. File documents and input system data accurately.
• Customs & Manifest: Upload manifests to Thai e-Customs/NSW within deadlines. Track cargo; coordinate truckers, warehouses, and brokers for on-time loading and delivery.
• Client Communication: Serve as daily contact in Thai, Chinese, and English. Provide booking updates, resolve inquiries, maintain records, and prepare operational reports.
• Support & Reporting: Achieve all KPIs. Report daily operations, issues, and risks to supervisor. Complete other assigned tasks.

KPIs: Documentation accuracy & on-time input, on-time departure rate, manifest filing on-time rate, client response & satisfaction, B/L & invoice timeliness, issue escalation.

Qualifications: College degree or above; proficient in Thai and English Familiar with sea freight forwarding processes Proactive, strong planning, execution, and teamwork skills Plus: Thailand local ops experience, Thai customs knowledge, logistics-related degree, Chinese language
