Sea Freight Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sea Freight Manager / Department Head with 15+ years of strong industry experience to lead and develop the Sea Freight division. The ideal candidate will have an extensive network with major Ocean Liners, NVOCCs, Feeder Operators and Shipping Lines, combined with strong commercial and operational expertise across all Sea Freight products

• 15+ years of overall experience in Sea Freight or Freight Forwarding.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing a Sea Freight Department / Business Unit.
• Strong leadership and proven Department Head / senior management experience.
• Excellent connections with Main Line Operators, NVOCCs, Feeder Operators and Shipping Lines.
• Strong knowledge of global Sea Freight markets, products, trade lanes and carrier networks.
• Proven commercial, negotiation and business development capabilities.
• Strong industry network in UAE shipping Industry.
• Experience managing teams, budgets, targets and departmental profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
