Mount Mary College of Education, located Somanya in the Eastern Region of Ghana, invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancy: Teachers Subject Areas

Education - (Curriculum Studies and Special Education) Ghanaian Language - Dangme English language - (Language and Literature, Linguistics, Lexico Semantics)

Duties And Responsibilities

Teaching Setting and marking of assignments and examination questions Supervision of students project work Invigilation of examinations Research and publications Supervise of students internship (Support teaching in schools) Engage in Community services and outreach activities Participate in curriculum development and academic administration Promotion professional development, collaborations and grantsmanship

Qualification Required & Experience The qualified applicant must:

Possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the relevant area Possess a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in the relevant area Possess a good bachelor's degree in the relevant area Possess ICT skills necessary for teaching and research Have served as a Lecturer in a College of Education or analogous tertiary institution for at least 2 years
