SAFETY OFFICER

Job Responsibilities Advise the Project Manager and management on safety measures and risk mitigation to maintain a safe working environment. Investigate workplace accidents and prepare detailed reports for management and relevant departments. Maintain accurate records ofsafety-related incidents and recommend corrective actions to preventrecurrence. Work with the Project Manager to monitorsafety compliance and identify potential hazards. Intervene promptly to stop unsafe actsor operations and protect employees and company assets. Liaise with regulatory authorities onWorkplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters and reporting requirements to ensureregulatory compliance. Apply comprehensive Occupational Safetyand Health (OSH) principles and practices to enforce site safety standards. Communicate safety policies andrecommendations effectively to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements Must hold a Workplace Safety and HealthOfficer (WSHO) licence and an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) licence. At least 3 years of experience as aSafety Officer.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working on projects in the PROCESS industry, such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or oil and gas.
