Primary 3 Science Tutor

Job Responsibilities Conduct engaging and structured Primary 3 Science lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.

Teach key Science concepts clearly and help students develop a strong foundation in Science.

Guide students in applying concepts to school-based and examination-style questions.

Prepare and use worksheets, lesson materials and revision resources to support students’ learning.

Identify students’ learning gaps and provide appropriate guidance and practice.

Mark assignments and provide timely feedback to help students improve.

Monitor students’ academic progress and provide feedback on their learning when required.

Encourage students to develop curiosity, logical thinking and confidence in Science.

Maintain a positive, structured and supportive classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with the teaching team to maintain consistent teaching standards.

Requirements Strong academic background in Science.

Familiar with the Singapore Primary 3 Science syllabus and primary school assessment requirements.

Prior experience teaching or tutoring Primary Science is preferred.

Good command of spoken and written English.

Able to explain Science concepts in a clear and simple manner.

Patient and able to engage young learners effectively.

Good classroom management and communication skills.

Responsible, punctual and committed to students’ learning progress.

Passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in Science.

Preferred Qualifications NIE-trained teacher or relevant teaching qualification.
