Health and Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment by implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting safety awareness across all operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to comply with UAE regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and guidance to employees at all levels to foster a culture of safety awareness.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and international best practices.
• Excellent observational and analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and develop solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to conduct training and engage with all levels of staff.
• Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
