Driver

Job Description:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, equipment and goods to and from project sites, suppliers, warehouses and other designated locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols while driving, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report any maintenance issues or accidents promptly.
• Track and monitor transportation activities, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any logistics issues or delays.
• Optimize transportation routes, reduce shipping costs, and improve delivery performance through effective logistics planning and management.
• Check and verify delivered or collected items against Delivery Orders (DO), Purchase Orders (PO) or other relevant documents.
• Assist with loading, unloading, carrying and arranging materials and equipment at the warehouse, workshop and project sites.
• Assist with general warehouse, workshop and site activities when driving duties are not required.
• Ensure company vehicles are sent for scheduled servicing, inspections and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant driving experience preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore roads, traffic regulations and industrial areas.
• Physically fit and able to carry out loading, unloading and manual handling duties.
• Able to read and understand basic delivery documents and instructions.
