An established engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead international engineering teams delivering safety-critical products into highly regulated industries. The role combines engineering leadership, product development, governance, compliance and customer engagement, supporting ongoing growth, innovation and operational excellence across multiple global locations

Description Dir ector of Engineering, Frimley: Develop and implement the engineering strategy in line with business objectives and growth plans Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple international locations Drive engineering performance across quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction metrics Oversee the delivery of both standard and customer-specific engineered product solutions Strengthen engineering governance, design assurance and configuration management processes Ensure compliance with applicable customer, regulatory and industry requirements Work closely with manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams throughout the product lifecycle Reporting into the COO, build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders while contributing to the senior leadership team

Profile Director of Engineering, Frimley:

Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams within a design and manufacturing environment Background in regulated product engineering sectors such as instrumentation, sensors, aerospace, defence, automation or other safety-critical industries Experience managing engineering teams across multiple sites and/or international locations Experience to include a mixture of Design Engineering, Data Management and leading a international multi site team Strong understanding of engineering governance, product assurance and technical compliance Knowledge of product development, verification, validation and qualification activities Experience managing engineering change control and requirements traceability Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, with Chartered status advantageous Please note: Given the sector and security restrictions applicants need to be British Citizens and sponsorship is not available

Job Offer Salary £85,000 to £100,000 plus an excellent package.
