PLANT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment and machinery used in foundry and production operations.

Qualifications/Requirements: At least 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar position. Experience in a foundry, steel plant, metal manufacturing, fabrication, or other heavy industrial environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of proper use and care of mechanical hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform basic welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication is an advantage. Physically fit and capable of working in a hot, dusty, noisy, and heavy industrial environment.
