Job Description:

The Geography Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Common Core standards, inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts, critical thinking skills, and global awareness. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of teaching experience at the high school level and demonstrate strong classroom management abilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Geography or related field (minimum requirement)

Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in high/secondary school settings

Strong knowledge of Common Core curriculum standards related to geography

Ability to design lesson plans that engage diverse learners effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using educational technology tools to enhance learning
