Sales Engineer (Interior Products)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Development

• Develop and maintain relationship with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Identify new business opportunities by cultivating potential prospects and understanding market demands
• Promote and sell Luxx Newhouse’s products by contacting prospects, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
• Provide clients with information, support, and guidance while offering innovative suggestions to enhance service and profitability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to recommend product or service enhancements.
• Ensure consistent quality service by upholding company standards in all interactions.
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge through workshops, industry publications, and networking.

1. Technical & Design Understanding

• Read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Translate design requirements into practical solutions and proposals.
• Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Provide technical input during client discussions and presentations.

1. Project Coordination

• Liaise between clients, design teams, and operations to ensure alignment on project scope.
• Support project execution by clarifying design intent and technical requirements.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients.

1. Market & Product Knowledge

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations
• Advise clients on product suitability, design options, and technical specifications
• Provide feedback to management on market demands and client preferences.

Requirements:

• minimum of 2 – 3 years of sales experience, ideally in Retail/General, Design, Renovation, Furniture, or Architectural products
• Proven track record in selling furniture or architectural products is a strong advantage.
• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Self-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Abilityto work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Own transport is preferred.
• Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period.
