Prepare detailed quotations, cost estimates, and project specifications based on client requirements and company solutions.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales journey, ensuring a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
Work closely with the design, project, and construction teams to ensure proposed designs are practical, achievable, and delivered to the required quality standards.
Keep abreast of the latest interior design trends, materials, products, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Consistently achieve or surpass assigned sales targets while upholding professional design and service standards.
Prepare sales agreements and contracts, follow up on enquiries and leads, and effectively manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to project award.
Provide after-sales support and obtain client feedback to enhance service quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
At least 2–3 years of experience in interior design sales, design consultancy, or other client-facing design-related roles.
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualisation/rendering software, or equivalent applications.
Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, space planning, material selection, finishes, and construction detailing.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships, secure sales opportunities, and successfully close projects while maintaining design quality and integrity.
Good understanding of project costing, budgeting, pricing, and estimation processes.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Possesses a strong sense of aesthetics together with practical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using CRM systems will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with local building regulations, statutory requirements, codes, and compliance standards is preferred.
Able to work effectively within a team environment while remaining self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented in achieving business objectives.
