*Overview*
We are seeking an *experienced, professional, and highly organized Dental Receptionist* to join our busy and friendly dental practice.
The ideal candidate will have a *minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working at the front desk of a dental office* and will be confident managing patient scheduling, insurance claims and estimates, payments, treatment coordination, and day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
This position requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing excellent patient service.
*Responsibilities*
- Greet patients warmly and professionally and provide an excellent experience from check-in to check-out
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
- Manage the daily schedule and help maintain a productive and organized workflow
- Verify dental insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims, estimates, predeterminations, and related follow-ups
- Process patient payments and accurately manage patient accounts
- Maintain and update patient information, treatment records, and electronic charts
- Communicate treatment plans, appointment requirements, and financial information clearly and professionally
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment, outstanding appointments, recalls, and insurance matters
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accurate handling of sensitive information
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and other team members to support smooth daily operations
- Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming front-desk environment
*Qualifications & Experience*
- *Minimum 2 years of dental receptionist/front-desk experience is mandatory*
- Experience working in a *Canadian dental office is mandatory*
- Proficiency with *Paradigm dental practice management software* is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment plans
- Good understanding of dental insurance claims, estimates, predeterminations, and patient billing
- Familiarity with *CDCP and other dental insurance plans* is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain professional and efficient in a busy, fast-paced dental environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Friendly, dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
*What We Are Looking For*

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
