Site Supervisor
I. Job Responsibilities
- Site Management and Coordination
Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to schedule, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize resource allocation and work progress.
- Quality and Safety Monitoring
Inspect construction quality to ensure compliance with Singapore standards (e.g., HDB, BCA).
Strictly enforce safety regulations (e.g., WSH Act), conduct safety meetings, identify potential hazards, and prevent accidents.
- Progress Tracking and Reporting
Monitor project progress, promptly report any delays or issues, and assist in developing countermeasures.
Maintain site logs, inspection records, and submit daily/weekly progress reports.
- Technical Guidance and Communication
Provide technical guidance to workers to resolve on-site issues and assist in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Act as the primary on-site liaison for clients, engineers, and government personnel.
- Material and Equipment Management
Oversee the inspection, storage, and use of materials to ensure they meet standards and minimize waste.
Check equipment maintenance status and coordinate repairs and scheduling.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of construction site supervisor experience in Singapore, with familiarity of local construction processes and regulations.
Proficient in reading construction drawings and using project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to adapt to a high-intensity work environment outdoors.
Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure and unexpected situations.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written communication).
