Investments Support Manager - Contract role

A leading global asset management firm in Singapore is seeking an Investments Support to join its Portfolio Solutions team.

About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of investment operations, data, and transition management — supporting trade lifecycle processes, derivatives and collateral workflows, and cross-functional project delivery across investments, operations, technology, data, risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as key liaison between Investments and Operations on the middle office migration project
• Understand requirements from the Investments team and perform testing on their behalf
• Drive operational process discussions across teams to establish SOPs for new investment product launches
• Drive the setup of new operational capabilities (e.g., new instruments)
• Create and maintain a structured project plan
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communications throughout

Experience Required

• 5–8+ years in asset management operations, investment data, trade operations, derivatives operations, collateral management, transition management, or a related financial services role
• Background within an asset manager, pension fund, sovereign wealth fund, investment consultant, custodian, investment bank, or similar institutional investment environment
• Hands-on exposure to trade lifecycle processes, order management, post-trade operations, derivatives processing, collateral/margin workflows, reconciliations, controls, and data flows
• Demonstrated project or transition management experience, coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver agreed outcomes

Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Strong understanding of asset management data, investment products, and workflows across equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and cash
• Good working knowledge of order management systems and their interaction with portfolio management, trading, operations, accounting, risk, and data platforms
• Strong grasp of trade operations, derivatives operations, collateral management, data flows, operational controls, and exception management
• Strong project management, structured thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Highly Desirable

• Experience leading or supporting transition management, operational change, platform implementation, data migration, or process transformation
• Knowledge of derivatives lifecycle events, confirmations, settlements, margin/collateral processes, reconciliations, and associated operational risks
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured workplans, process maps, data requirements, controls, and measurable deliverables
• Proven ability to manage dependencies and stakeholders, challenge constructively, and maintain momentum to completion
• Exposure to operating model redesign, workflow automation, data quality improvement, dashboards, or vendor management
