Projects & Team Responsibilities

Client delivery

Lead and deliver risk and regulatory transformation engagements across banking and financial services clients. Advise clients on non-financial risk, compliance, conduct risk, operational risk, governance, and enterprise risk management frameworks. Design and enhance risk governance frameworks, operating models, policies, controls, and reporting capabilities. Manage end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation and business adoption. Provide advisory support on regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations issued by CBUAE, SAMA, DFSA, ADGM, and other regional regulators.

Practice development

Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry trends, and leading practices. Contribute to thought leadership, business development, proposals, and client pursuits. Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

The Individual

Strong understanding of non-financial risk management within the banking and financial services sector. Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Regulatory licensing and authorization

Regulatory remediation and compliance transformation

Conduct risk

Operational risk

Enterprise risk management (ERM)

Governance and internal controls

Operational resilience

Risk culture and accountability

Digital assets and virtual asset risk management

Compliance monitoring and testing

Regulatory risk assessments

Outsourcing and third-party risk management

Good understanding of regulatory requirements, including CBUAE, SAMA, Basel, CMA, and SCA frameworks. Experience developing and enhancing risk management, compliance, governance, operational risk, conduct risk, and risk reporting frameworks.
