MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR III (GOV)

Equipment Management
- Monitor daily utilization, deployment, and location of heavy equipment (backhoes, dump trucks, cranes, mixers, and other company equipment)
- Maintain updated equipment inventory and records (registration, insurance, LTO documents)
- Coordinate equipment allocation between project sites based on project schedules
Maintenance & Repair Coordination
- Schedule preventive maintenance (PM) programs to minimize breakdowns
- Coordinate with mechanics/technicians for repairs and servicing
- Track equipment downtime and prepare maintenance reports
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and update equipment logbooks, utilization reports, and fuel consumption reports
- Process registration renewals, permits, and compliance with DOTr/LTO/DPWH requirements
- Maintain records of spare parts, tires, and consumables
Procurement Support
- Coordinate with procurement for spare parts, fuel, and equipment rental needs
- Evaluate and recommend equipment for repair, replacement, or disposal
Site Coordination
- Liaise with Project Engineers and Site Supervisors on equipment requirements
- Ensure operators are certified and equipment complies with safety standards
- Conduct or coordinate equipment inspections before deployment
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOLE safety standards and company policies
- Monitor proper use of PPE and safety protocols during equipment operation
- Investigate equipment-related incidents/accidents
Cost Control
- Monitor equipment operating costs, fuel usage, and rental expenses
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in equipment utilization
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
- Experience in construction equipment management (2–5 years preferred)
