Quantity Surveyor

Pre-Contract Stage Carry out quantity take-offs and cost comparisons for major work trades Assist in establishing client requirements and conducting feasibility studies Monitor relevant planning authority websites to identify potential tender opportunities Prepare, complete, and submit pre-qualification (PQ) documents Review and assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information is available for tender preparation Source, request, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Prepare tender submissions, including cost estimates and supporting documents Submit tenders and follow up on any clarifications or queries

Post Contract Stage Responsibilities: Understand and reasonably interpret contract document & drawing Understand contract provision thoroughly and advise the risk/areas of concern To perform measurement and cost breakdown To prepare payment certification to sub-contractor/ supplier To prepare payment claim to client To identify and evaluate variation work Requirements: Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills Analytical and meticulous with strong interpersonal and good negotiation skill. A dynamic, positive and forward thinking personality will be essential Ability to work with tight deadlines will be an added advantage
