HSSE Coordinator and Environmental Supervisor

Key responsibilities

Overall management of health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) issues and waste management.

Act as the key liaison for all related activities with relevant stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international rules, regulations, and guidelines governing environmental protection and safety.

Promote environment and safety awareness among all contractor staff.

Coordinate with the client for all HSSE-related training requirements for staff.

Liaise with the client's HSSE department for all safety and environmental matters.

Make sure all activities are conducted in accordance with the safety and environmental procedures and guidelines defined by the client.

Ensure all waste handling operations are carried out within appropriate durations and in strict compliance with environmental and waste handling guidelines.

Serve as the single point of contact for any environment-related matters at the site.

Maintain a site presence at all times to respond promptly to HSSE issues.

Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in science or engineering.

At least 15 years of overall experience as a HSSE professional.

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the management of HSSE for turnarounds (TA) in the oil and gas industry.

At least 12 years' experience in HSSE roles, with 8 years in managing HSSE for turnarounds.

Fluency in English is essential.

Provision of a CV for review is mandatory.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and approved by client's HSSE department.

Contractor to submit CVs for two equally qualified candidates; the client will make the final selection.
