RESIDENT ENGINEER (RE)
Job Description:
To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
Supervision & Inspection for Piling, ERSS, Deep Excavation & precast work with approved dwg, specification, rule & regulation.
Carry out supervision and fully responsible all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
To monitor the progress on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.
To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements
To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer
- Registered RE with IES
- Minimum 5 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high rise residential building project.
- Knowledgeable with local authority’s regulations and requirements (BCA)
- Experienced with PPVC is added advantage
