Job description

A reputable and well-established pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a medical advisor – oncology to be based in Riyadh.

Main responsibilities

Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise.

Facilitate scientific engagement, scientific exchange, and medical information.

Provide clinical presentations and respond to medical requests.

Provide medical support for patients and formulary access products following global and local policies and procedures.

Support the development, implementation, and completion of medical activities.

Build good relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and organizations.

Support and back up the marketing, sales, and regulatory departments in scientific and medical issues to achieve the company’s objectives.

Serve as a medical expert for internal medical and sales training.

Support clinical research and investigator initiated studies (IIS) and observational studies following guidelines and company-relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences and support the development of summaries of key data, presentations, or symposiums.

Requirements

Due to Saudization, only Saudi nationals will be considered for this position.

Medical degree (MD), PharmD, or relevant life-science qualification.

Minimum 3 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceuticals industry.

Experience in oncology medical affairs is a must.

Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and the Saudi healthcare landscape.

Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.

Ability to engage effectively with external experts and internal stakeholders.
