Job Description
- Carry out carpentry and woodworking works for residential and commercial projects.
- Read and interpret carpentry drawings, measurements and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape and install wood, plywood, laminates and other carpentry materials.
- Fabricate and install built-in cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, office cabinets, doors and other carpentry works.
- Carry out on-site installation, adjustment and finishing works.
- Use carpentry tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Check completed works to ensure proper measurements, quality and finishing.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other workers to complete projects according to schedule.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Perform other carpentry-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Relevant experience in carpentry, woodworking or furniture/cabinet installation.
- Able to read basic carpentry drawings and take measurements.
- Able to use common carpentry hand tools and power tools.
- Able to carry out both workshop fabrication and on-site installation.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and willing to work at construction/workshop sites.
- Good attention to detail and workmanship.
- Relevant carpentry qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
