About the role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate nursery manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a nursery, ensuring high standards of early years education, safeguarding, care, compliance and parent experience.
The nursery manager will lead and support the team, drive operational excellence and create a positive environment where children, families and staff feel valued and supported.
Key responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day management and operations of the nursery
Ensure high standards of education, care, safeguarding and health & safety
Lead, motivate and develop the nursery team
Support staff performance, training and professional development
Ensure effective implementation of the EYFS and KFG policies and procedures
Build strong and positive relationships with parents and families
Monitor children's learning, development and overall wellbeing
Support admissions, occupancy and parent engagement initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory and inspection requirements
Manage staffing, rotas, resources and operational requirements
Address parent and staff concerns professionally and effectively
Drive continuous improvement across nursery operations and educational standards
Promote a positive, collaborative and professional team culture
Qualifications & experience
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Business Management or a related field
Relevant Early Years qualification such as CACHE Level 3, BTEC, HND, PGCE, Montessori or equivalent
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child development
3–5+ years of experience within an early years/nursery environment
Previous experience in a nursery manager, deputy manager, assistant manager or senior leadership role
Strong team leadership and people management experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills
UAE experience within an early years setting is an advantage
