International School (Pearson Edexcel) – History / Geography Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Teach History and Geography in accordance with the Pearson Edexcel curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources. Assess, monitor, and report student progress. Prepare learners for internal and external examinations. Promote inquiry-based and learner-centered teaching approaches. Integrate ICT into classroom instruction. Participate in co-curricular and school activities. Maintain effective classroom management and discipline. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student achievement.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Education. Experience in IGCSE curriculum – Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel. Must be TSC registered. A minimum of 3 years' experience. Good ICT skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and pupils. Clean child protection record. Excellent curriculum and classroom management knowledge & skills. Experience handling candidate classes is preferable.
